Below is a list of what has been done to the bike:
The frame and all metal parts were sandblasted, then painted in black semi-gloss color.
Powder Coated parts: Frame, Swing arm, Wheels, front Forks, Top and Bottom Yoke, Side stand, Centre stand, key brace, top box tray, all mounting brackets, brace arms and many more.
All chrome parts were newly chrome plated.
New spare parts for suspension: Front fork springs, new rubber front fork gaiters, fork oil seals and bearings. New chrome rear shocks.
The engine was glass blasted, cleaned, painted and some parts were replaced for the new one.
Carburetor was stripped, ultrasonically cleaned and regulated.
Detailed restoration of the plastic parts: The fairing, fender and tank were recovered and painted. Very high-quality painted motorcycle in the original colors and CHiPs decor. This bike is immediately recognizable on the road.
Engine: head and block stripped, new cylinder head shimmed, valves clearances reset.
New Clutch components, clutch plates replaced, new Throttle and Clutch cables, new sprockets and chain, new oil and filter.
Electrical: new coils, new start switch and wiring, new battery and starter cable, new plugs, caps, leads and spark plugs.
Brakes: stripped and pistons replaced, new piston seals, front and rear brakes pads. Complete brake system flush, front and rear, new brake fluid.
New floorboards rubber pads, new shifter rubber, new rubber brake pedal.
New Tires front and rear Metzeler Lasertec.
